Monthly Rope Class
4th Sunday of Every Month, 1pm-3pm

We are pleased to announce the addition of a monthly rope wall class. The first class begins Sunday, June 24. Class size is limited to 6 students per class. Please send an email to the studio to reserve your space, or sign up at the studio. Cost $20/class.


4-Week Introductory Iyengar Series
Next Series Begins Sunday, June 10, 3:15

All students new to yoga or the Iyengar method are encouraged to complete our 4-Week Introductory Iyengar Yoga Series. This series covers the basics of alignment, action, and philosophy according to the Iyengar tradition. This series of 4, one hour and 45 minute classes is designed to prepare new students for our ongoing beginning level classes. Cost: $50 for the series (non-refundable).


Wednesday Night Class Added to Schedule

Beginning June 20, the Wednesday night 6:30pm class will be open to all Level 1 students.


FREE Laughter Yoga Class
Sunday, June 10, 1pm-3pm

This class will be facilitated by Phyllis Rollins, Charlotte’s only Laughter Yoga Leader.

Anyone can laugh in a group for 15-20 minutes without depending upon a great sense of humor, jokes or comedy. Laughter Yoga combines simple laughter exercises (simulated laughter) and gentle yoga breathing, which turns into real laughter when practiced in a group. The unique concept of Laughter Yoga and Laughter Club is the brain child of Dr. Madan Kataria, a physician from Mumbai, India.

Laughter Yoga is supported by powerful tools derived from the Western psycho analytical methods as well as Eastern spiritual laws. It will help you to stay in high spirits when life throws up challenges. It will enhance your ability to laugh and smile when dealing with negative emotions, situations and negative or difficult people.

These powerful tools include: How does the human mind work? What is the meaning and purpose of life? Understanding laws of the universe which govern our life. Understanding negative emotions like anger, fear, anxiety, greed, guilt, sadness, lust and attachments. And cultivating positive attitudes like appreciation, forgiveness, service and devotion.
